Bernice Raby of Okawville, IL departed this life
in the Friendship Manor Health Center at Nashville,
IL on Friday, May 14, 2010 at 2:15 A.M. She had
attained the age of 85 years, 4 months and 18 days.
Bernice was born at St. Louis, MO on December 26,
1924 the daughter of Charles and Ruby (nee Heier)
Grimm.
Mrs. Raby worked as a printing press operator at
American Gold Label in St. Louis until her
retirement. Bernice was a member of the Singing
Angels Choir at the Friendship Manor Health Center
and she enjoyed playing Bingo. She was of the
Catholic faith.
Left to mourn her passing are 2 daughters, Kathy
Miller and husband Kenneth of Okawville and Barbara
Bulger of Poplar Bluff, MO; 5 grandchildren; 5 great
grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; 3
sisters, Ruby Grimm, Dorothy Harper and Ida Scaggs
and a brother Charles Grimm Jr.
