Ashley, IL on Tuesday from 6 PM until 8 PM and on
Wednesday from 7:30 AM until 9:30 AM.
The rosary will be recited at the Campagna Funeral
Home on Tuesday at 7:30 PM. |

| Services: Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St.
Michael Catholic Church on Wednesday, June 30, 2010
at 10 A.M. with Fr. Robert Zwilling officiating and
with interment in the church cemetery. |
Memorials: Should friends desire mass offerings or memorial contributions can be made to the St. Michael Catholic Church or school and will be accepted at the Campagna Funeral Home. |

Miss. Clara M. Smolik of Nashville, IL, departed this
life at the Friendship Manor Healthcare Center in
Nashville on Saturday, June 26, 2010 at 7:10 P.M.
She had attained the age of 98 years, 8 months, and 6
days.
Miss. Smolik was born on October 20, 1911 at
Ashley, IL the daughter of Joseph and Frona (Pierjok)
Smolik.
Clara worked as a meat packer for the Independent
Meat Company in St. Louis, MO for many years until
her retirement. She was a member of the St. Michael
Catholic Church in Radom, IL, where she was involved
with the Altar/Rosary Sodality.
Left to mourn her passing is her brother, Pete
Smalley of Woodlawn, IL; a nephew and also her
Godson, Bill Smalley and his wife Frances of Ashley,
IL; 3 nieces, Pat Yates and her husband Don of
Woodlawn, IL, Mercedes Swambar and her husband Jim of
Antioch, IL, Dolores Brashear and her husband Jim of
Katy, TX; Numerous great nieces and nephews, other
relation and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 3
brothers, Mike, Anthony and Joseph Smalley; and a
sister, Annie Smalley
