Mr. Wallace Kaufman of Sandoval, Illinois,
departed this life at his residence in Sandoval,
Illinois on Sunday, July 4, 2010 at 6:30 P.M. He had
attained the age of 76 years and 9 days.
Mr. Kaufman was born in Oakdale Twp. in Washington
County, Illinois on June 25, 1934 the son of Carl and
Katherine (nee Zacheis) Kaufman. He was united in
marriage to Alice (Lawhorn) Hustedde and they later
divorced. Alice survives his passing.
Wallace was a Veteran, having served in the United
States Army during the Koran War. Mr. Kaufman worked
in the logging and sawmill industry for many years
until retirement. He loved to spend time with his
grandchildren, fishing, camping and being outdoors.
Left to mourn his passing is 6 children,
Wallace Kaufman., Tina Gray, Connie (Kenny) Tomes,
all of Sandoval, Il , Bonnie Stewart of Mt. Vernon,
Il., Gina Hays of O’fallon, Il., and Jessica (Clint)
Faith of Pocahontas, Il. 2 sisters, Sylvia (Floyd)
Ponyi and Marcella (Curt) Willis all of Nashville,
Il., 20grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren,
nieces, nephews, other relation and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a
brother Victor Kaufman, and a grandson Austin Branson.
