Visitation: Friends may call at the Campagna Funeral Home in Nashville on Friday from 11 A.M. until the service hour
 
Services: Funeral services will be held at the Campagna Funeral Home of Nashville on Friday, July 16, 2010 at 1 P.M. with Rev. Scott Sharp officiating. Interment will be in the Masonic Cemetery at Nashville.

Memorials: Should friends desire, memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Nashville or to the Extended Care Unit of the Washington County Hospital and will be accepted by the Campagna Funeral Home of Nashville.

Mrs. Millie Hardesty of Nashville, IL departed this life in the Extended Care Unit of the Washington County Hospital at Nashville on Tuesday, July 13, 2010 at 6:48 P.M. She had attained the age of 87 years, 3 months and 22 days.

Millie was born in Perry County, IL on March 21, 1923 the daughter of Glen and Armilda (nee Bigham) Cottom. She was united in marriage to Lloyd “Red” Hardesty in Tulsa, OK on June 15, 1944 and he preceded her in death on July 25, 2001.

Mrs. Hardesty was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church at Nashville. Millie was a homemaker and worked at the Mode-O-Day Dress Shop in Nashville for several years. She enjoyed gardening, cooking and quilting but most of all she loved spending time with her family.

Left to mourn her passing are three daughters, Connie Frerker of Nashville, Sue Gordon of Dallas, TX and Sara Meinert and husband Mark of Nashville; a sister, Marjorie Bolin of St. Peter’s, MO; five grandchildren, Rebecca Ruehl and husband Scott, Chris Frerker and wife Amber, Rachel Meinert, Samantha Jeske and Jordan Meinert all of Nashville; 6 great grandchildren, Emilie, Spencer and Grace Ruehl, Madison and Faith Frerker, and Dax Jeske; nieces; nephews as well as a host of friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three sisters and two brothers.
