Visitation: Friends may call at the Campagna Funeral Home in Nashville on Sunday from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
 
Services: Funeral services will be held at the Campagna Funeral Home in Nashville, IL on Sunday, July 18, 2010 at 8:00 P.M.

Memorials: Should friends desire memorials may be made to the St. Mary’s/Good Samaritan Hospital at Centralia or to the charity of the donor’s choice and will be accepted by the Campagna Funeral Home of Nashville.

Mr. William Brehm of rural Ashley, IL departed this life at his residence on Thursday, July 15, 2010 at 7:30 P.M. He had attained the age of 73 years, 1 month and 14 days.

William was born in Centralia, IL on May 31, 1937 the son of William C. and Bertha (nee Prusz) Brehm Sr. He was united in marriage to Evelyn Hagans in the St. Paul United Church of Christ at Nashville, IL on July 29, 1967 and she survives his passing.

Bill was a farmer and he was the former plant manager at AgriPride FS in Dubois, IL until retiring from full time employment, however Mr. Brehm still worked part-time at the plant. Bill was a former member of the St. Paul United Church of Christ in Nashville and had served on the church council. He was a member of the Washington County Sportsman’s Club and the Washington County Farm Bureau. He was a veteran of the Army National Guard.

Left to mourn his passing is his wife, Evelyn of Ashley; three children, Glenn Brehm of Carlyle, IL, Timothy Brehm and Thomas Brehm and wife Shannon all of Ashley; a brother-in-law, Johnny T. Hagans and wife Mary Ann of Livingston, IL; a nephew, Richard Hagans and wife Rita of Worden, IL; a niece, Theresa Hagans of Holiday Shores, IL; 6 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren as well as a host of friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
